Quran Day - well done Year 3!

On Sunday 17th December, 15 of our Year 3 pupils gave up most of their day to attend a multi-school event hosted at East London Mosque.

Setting off from school at 8.00am the eager group duly arrived and took their seats alongside schools from across London, all of whom had gathered to celebrate the Quran.

Other schools performing on the day included Al-Noor Primary School, Islamia Primary School (VA), Apex Primary School, Voice of Peace Children’s Choir and Date Valley Primary School although we were especially proud of our pupils not only for their outstanding confidence and fearlessness to present in front of such a large and distinguished gathering but also because our group were the youngest of the performers on the day.

Several prominent figures were also in attendance and gave addresses to those gathered, including Babar Mirza, Director of Education, Nida Trust, Muttalip Unluer, Chairman of Nida Trust and Khalid Chaudhry, Vice-Chair of Nida Trust.
