Reception class were lucky enough to have a close encounter with some wild animals all the way from Africa! The whole class were extremely brave and handled all the animals. Take a look! Thank you to the Paradise Wildlife Park team.
Reception loved dressing up as their favourite characters today! We spoke about each one of our characters. We had Maya Angelou, The Mad Hatter, Little Red Riding Hood, Handa from Handa's Surprise and many other characters! See if you can spot any!
Reception also enjoyed 'The Funky Fairy workshop' they used their imagination to find the missing book of 'Happily Ever Afters' for all the fairy tale stories. Did Snow white ever wake up? Did Cinderella find her glass slipper? Well you'll just have to ask the reception class to find out!

Reception loved the visit to Sea Life! They had been eagerly waiting from the beginning of the term to visit the sea creatures they had learnt about. It was a Blast! Especially the scary sharks and the cute little clown fish they really did look like Nemo! The Jellyfish fish were super interesting to watch as they do not have any bones like we do!
We love 'Harry and the Dinosaur' stories in Reception. So we have a new dedicated area in the outdoors to accommodate the interested of our children, have a peak at our 'Small World' Dino area. We have a good range of natural materials for children to explore and get really quite dino-dirty!
A huge thank you to all the parents involved in this terms 'Stay and Play Sessions'. Children have thoroughly enjoyed all the amazing pre planned activities and have benefitted greatly. Take a sneak peak into our sessions...
Reception enjoyed a busy fun-filled trip to the London Transport Museum.
