Nursery love Music!

In Nursery, we are practising nursery rhymes as one of our first themes. Children are enjoying their Music lessons every Friday with our passionate Music teacher. The children are practising their body percussion, rhythm and rhyme as in line with their curriculum progression.

Children have enjoyed singing Ring-A-Ring-A-Roses, The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Shay Shay Kule using a variety of movements and gestures. Children have also enjoyed interactive games such as ‘Jump Jim Joe’, which involves children choosing alternative partners and following an enjoyable pattern of movements.  This is in line with our focus on body percussions within Creative Arts & Design and Literacy.
