Iqra Primary School has a school uniform which reflects the school's Islamic character and provides a practical, affordable and consistent approach to school dress.

Pupils are expected to wear the agreed school uniform each day. We ask parents and carers to support the school by ensuring that children arrive in the correct uniform.

Some elements need to be purchased from Wearabouts, either online or by visiting the store at 358 Norwood road, London, SE27 9AA.

The elements Wearabouts stock for us that should be bought only there are the jumper or cardigan with Iqra logo, the book bag with Iqra logo and the jogging bottoms for PE. Other items may be purchased from any retail outlet of your choice. 

The school checks that pupils are appropriately dressed for school. Where there is an issue with uniform, we will work with parents and carers to resolve it.

Girls

• Hijaab - if worn, it must be plain white with no pins, patterns or gems
• Shirt/ blouse dress/ pinafore with trousers for Y4-Y6 (No leggings) 
• Shirt/ blouse dress/ skirt/Pinafore with trousers or leggings for EY-Y3 (Grey)
• Leggings for EY and Y1-Y3 (Grey)
• Cardigan Royal blue with Iqra logo
• School shoes/P.E trainers (plain black with no coloured trim or logo's)
• Socks (black/white)

Girls: summer uniform

• Blue gingham dress. EY and KS1(white leggings), KS2 (white loose bottoms). Only worn in the Summer term.

Boys

• Kufi - if worn, it must be white and without pattern
• Shirt or Polo shirt (white)
• Trousers (Strictly no shorts allowed) (grey) 
• Cardigan/Jumpers Royal blue with Iqra logo
• School shoes/Trainers (plain black with no coloured trim or logos)
• Socks (black / white) 

P.E kit Boys and Girls

• Royal Blue  tracksuit bottoms and P.E. t-shirt with the school logo (Key Stage 2 girls wear a long sleeved, white PE shirt with school logo)
• Pupils must wear their plain black trainers (please see images below) on the days of P.E.  They are expected to wear correct  school shoes (plain black shoes or plain black trainers) everyday including P.E. days. Please do not wear plimsolls as school shoes. 
• Pupils bags must be bags with the Iqra School logo only.
