Year 1 - Designing and building homes!

This half term, Year 1 have been busy designing and creating different types of homes using cardboard and a variety of other materials. The children have explored different types of homes and used their creativity and imagination to build their own models. During our local walk, the children enjoyed spotting and identifying different homes in the community. They worked hard to stick, cut and assemble their homes, developing teamwork skills and design skills along the way.

We are so proud of their fantastic creations. Well done, Year 1!
