Year 1 Become Nature Artists

This term in Art, Year 1 have been exploring the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Inspired by his nature art, the children have been getting creative using natural materials such as leaves, sticks and stones. They carefully arranged shapes and patterns outdoors and crafted nature-inspired portraits, learning that art can be temporary and created anywhere. Year 1 loved becoming nature artists and creating beautiful artwork inspired by the world around them.
