Year 2 News

Year 2 have had lots of fun reading The Snail and the Whale. The children loved sharing the story together and were very excited to watch the movie, spotting their favourite parts and talking about the differences between the book and the film.

The Science trip to Battersea Zoo was a real highlight. The children were thrilled to see the animals up close and learn interesting facts about where they live and how they stay healthy. There were lots of smiles, great questions, and excited conversations throughout the day.

Forest School was full of excitement and adventure. Year 2 loved working together to set up a campfire and had great fun toasting marshmallows. Being outdoors, learning new skills, and enjoying tasty treats made it a very memorable experience.

In Design and Technology, the classroom was buzzing as the children designed and made their own cars for the mechanisms topic. They enjoyed building, testing, and racing their cars, and were very proud to show off their fantastic creations.
