Children will explore which materials are suitable or unsuitable for different purposes and will start to explain their reasoning. They will also investigate and test materials to understand how they are used in the world around us.
History
In History, we will be looking at ‘The Great Fire of London’ to study what happened to London during the fire of 1666. Children will explore how and where the fire started, how it spread so quickly, and what life was like in London at that time. They will learn about the impact the fire had on the city and the changes that were made afterwards to help keep people safer.
