Headteacher Meets Prime Minister

Earlier this month, our Headteacher, Humaira Saleem, attended a recent event at Vauxhall Community Centre, where Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer addressed members of the local community.
During his visit, the Prime Minister spoke about the current situation in Iran and its wider impact, including the effect on the British economy and the importance of supporting communities across the UK, particularly both Jewish and Muslim communities during challenging times.
The event also provided an important opportunity for our Headteacher to engage in discussion, highlighting key issues currently facing schools. These included the impact of the cost of living on families and the ongoing challenges surrounding school funding for SEND provision.
It was a valuable opportunity to ensure that the voices of schools and our community are heard at the highest level, and to continue advocating for the support needed to help all children thrive.
