Year 5 Shine at Lambeth Citizen’s Election Assembly

We are incredibly proud of our wonderful Year 5 pupils, who delivered a fantastic performance at the Lambeth Citizen’s Election Assembly held at Saint Gabriel's College.

This special event brought together members of the local community, along with election candidates, to share a powerful community manifesto. The manifesto focused on important issues affecting local residents, including:

  • Work and Wages
  • Housing
  • Young People’s Futures
  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

🎤 A Performance to Remember

Our pupils truly rose to the occasion, performing with confidence, enthusiasm, and pride. Their singing and performance were a highlight of the evening and were warmly received by everyone in attendance.

The children demonstrated not only their talent, but also their understanding of the importance of community and using their voices to make a difference. They represented our school beautifully and showed what can be achieved through dedication and teamwork.

🌍 Learning Beyond the Classroom

Events like this provide valuable opportunities for children to see how communities come together to create positive change. Our Year 5 pupils were proud to be part of such an inspiring and meaningful occasion.

👏 Well Done Year 5!

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to all the children who took part—you made us incredibly proud!

We also thank our staff, families, and the wider community for their continued support in making opportunities like this possible.

“A proud moment for our school community.”
